LeafsOut Micro Mesh Rain Gutter Guards
Corrugated v-bends in the stainless steel micro mesh create an exceptionally strong and economical gutter guard that does not need a support frame under the micro mesh. Being made from aluminum and stainless steel there are no effects from the sun and will not degrade like other plastic or foam rain gutter guards.
The stainless steel micro mesh has very fine holes that will help to keep wasps and other pests out of the rain gutters. Both versions have 30 holes per inch (900 holes per square inch) of heavy duty stainless steel mesh.
LEAFSOUT MICRO MESH CONSTRUCTION
The LeafsOut Gutter Protection System consists of three main components: a front anodized aluminum drip edge; a stainless steel V-Bend filter mesh; and a black water siphon control strip on the bottom side of the mesh that literally pulls water into the rain gutter. LeafsOut gutter guard can be installed on various gutter types such as Ogee, half round, fascia, curved and box. It can also be installed on various types of roofs such as asphalt shingle, wood shake, flat tile, Spanish tile and stone coated steel.
LEAFSOUT MICRO MESH INSTALLATION
The front aluminum edge has a stop that will push up against the inside front edge of the rain gutter and a rest that will fit on top of the front edge and can be screwed on with included self tapping screws. The back edge slides in between the roof and the roof shingles. We recommend the micro mesh to be at an angle between 5 and 15 degrees. A higher angle may result in water running of the mesh instead of into the gutter. If the angle is steep the back of the mesh can be bent and attached to the fascia board.
SELECTING THE RIGHT WIDTH
Available in 5” standard and 7” WIDE widths with a length of 4 feet per section. We highly recommend obtaining a sample so you can make sure and get the correct size for your rain gutter. We also offer volume pricing giving a lower price when purchasing in larger quantities. LeafsOut STD fits 4” or less rain gutters and LeafsOut WIDE fits 6” or less rain gutters.
We highly recommend to get a sample to make sure LeafsOut is what you are looking for and will work with your roof. The samples are 6 inches long which is enough for you to test out to make sure.
